TALKING HEADS

The first inspiration for this shoot was, of course, the band Talking Heads. The fashion drew from the 1970s band, as we created a nostalgic series, reminiscent of old high school yearbook photos. The second inspiration was derived from the term “talking head,” which refers to television anchors. In order to best capture this concept, the models conveyed stories through their facial expressions, as talking heads do while reporting the news.
